Jani Lane, lead singer of late 80s hair band Warrant has died at the age of 47. Like Bret Michaels, Lane showed up on reality TV this century that specialized in hot messes and was known to have drug and weight problems. He was NOT slated for death in the tabloids, largely because the three main vultures in the supermarket rags, the Enquirer, Globe and the low rent Examiner, are aimed at an older demographic than the fans of rock from from twenty to twenty five years ago.
